Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Supervise and coordinate the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor and reconcile vendor and customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
Billing:
Oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Collaborate with relevant departments to address any billing discrepancies.
Commissions:
Manage the computation and payment of commissions, ensuring alignment with established policies.
General Ledger:
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Conduct regular reconciliations to guarantee the integrity of financial data.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant information for financial planning.
Systems Implementation:
Play a key role in implementing and optimizing financial systems.
Provide training and support to team members on system usage.
Financial Reporting:
Generate and analyze financial reports for management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
5+ years experience in public accounting audit and private industry accounting roles.
Proven track record in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and general ledger functions.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sports industry environment.
