Robert Half Corporate Tax Staff Accountant in San Jose, California
Description Remote workforce with a physical office in San Jose
Seeking a professional with experience in:
Avalara AvaTax system and return preparation process, preferably Avalara’s Managed Returns for Accountants (MRA) service offering
Client service, adept at managing multiple clients simultaneously
Ability to work with urgency and meet internal and external monthly deadlines
Positive attitude and teamwork skills
Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel is necessary (pivot tables, v-lookups)
1st two weeks: 6-8 hours a day. Then after, flexible hours which may be less than 8 hours per day.
Temp-to-hire position
Sales tax experience is a must.
Start date: May 1st
Candidate will also be working with two types of clients: the ones that are on Avalara and the ones that are not, which include Quickbooks, NetSuite, etc. Requirements Sales Tax, Tax Accounting, Excel Formulas, Quickbooks Online, Oracle NetSuite Technologies
