Description We are inviting applications for the position of Financial Analyst - Entry Level based in San Jose, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is particularly suited for recent finance graduates. The role involves assisting with Mergers & Acquisitions activities and learning FP& A functions and transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the processing of financial transactions and understanding FP& A functions
• Participating in Mergers & Acquisitions activities
• Utilizing financial modeling skills to support decision making
• Proficient use of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial information
• Applying clear communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Contributing to the growth of the junior position into a more senior role
• Enhancing analytical skills to support financial decision making. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated skills in Financial Modeling, Powerpoint Presentation, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards is desirable.
