Our client, a premier private equity firm managing $50 billion in assets, is dedicated to driving global technology investments. They are shaping the future of the tech industry through strategic investments in high-growth companies and are seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Responsibilities:
Manage complex fund bookings, reconciliations, and distributions.
Lead quarterly close processes for multiple fund entities.
Handle calculations for distributions and capital calls, including drafting notice letters.
Expertly apply Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) terms regarding carry waterfalls and expense allocations.
Support annual audits and resolve technical accounting issues.
Oversee cash management and projections.
Collaborate with third-party administrators.
Address inquiries from deal and compliance teams.
Respond to requests for information from limited partners.
Prepare customized quarterly and annual schedules for limited partners.
Requirements
5+ years of experience with VC/PE clients or in-house roles.
Strong track record in financial tasks, including bookings, reconciliations, closings, distributions, and audits.
Key traits: intelligence, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of partnership accounting under US GAAP.
Collaborative team player who fosters growth.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with Investran is a plus.
