Robert Half Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist in San Jose, California
Description
We are offering a contract for a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist role with one of our clients in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be involved in the financial industry, identifying and tracking potential acquisition opportunities, while also supporting transaction execution and strategic initiatives. This is a 6 month contract with one of the growing organizations in the valley.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and monitor potential acquisition opportunities.
• Develop and present financial analysis to aid in the evaluation of these opportunities.
• Assess the strategic value of potential acquisitions and present your findings to the management team.
• Review transaction-related documents such as information memorandums, management presentations, and draft documents including term sheets, MOUs, and offer letters.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts and manage internal and external service providers.
• Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of transaction evaluation and execution.
• Offer coordination and analytical support for strategic initiatives and projects as needed.
• Build relationships with internal and external parties to create a valuable network.
• Conduct detailed company and industry research.
• Assist in the execution of ongoing M& A transactions.
Requirements • Possess a deep understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) processes and best practices
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling is required
• Extensive experience in Acquisition Integration is essential
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven track record of successfully managing and closing M& A deals
• Familiarity with legal, financial and taxation implications of M& A
• Proficient in using M& A software and other related applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• High level of professionalism and personal integrity.
