Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in San Jose, California. This role operates within the industry, executing tasks related to tax management in a public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, LLC, trust, and HNW individual tax returns.
• Provide leadership and manage a team, ensuring efficient operations.
• Work closely with clients to address and resolve their inquiries and issues related to tax.
• Maintain CPA status in good standing and stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.
• Handle the preparation and review of audited financial statements.
• Manage annual income tax provision activities.
• Implement strategies to optimize tax processes and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, particularly during the busy season.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all tax data and records. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of a Tax Manager in a public setting.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax Returns is required.
• Experience in preparing the Annual Income Tax Provision is essential.
• Must have hands-on experience with Audited Financial Statements.
• The job requires experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns.
• The ability to manage a team effectively is a must.
• Candidate must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
