Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Consultant with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with tax regulations, identify opportunities for tax savings, and provide strategic guidance to optimize their overall tax position. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of corporate tax laws, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and review federal and state corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

  • Tax Planning:

  • Analyze financial data to identify tax planning opportunities and strategies.

  • Provide recommendations for minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing available tax credits and incentives.

  • Client Interaction:

  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.

  • Address client inquiries and concerns, offering expert advice on tax-related matters.

  • Research and Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on clients.

  • Conduct research on complex tax issues and present findings in a clear and comprehensible manner.

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and accessible.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on tax findings and recommendations.

  • Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, finance, and legal, to ensure comprehensive client support.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the tax department.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in corporate tax consulting or related roles.

  • Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
