Our client is an investment management firm in San Jose with almost $5 billion in aum. They offer portfolio management for various entities such as individuals, retirement accounts, trusts, family offices, corporations, endowments, and foundations. They manage portfolios with a strict focus on valuation, margin of safety, portfolio concentration, investment flexibility, and a long-term perspective.

Wealth Advisor

San Jose; Hybrid

$125-175k + Bonus

Day to Day:

  • Further the objectives of the entire wealth advisory team.

  • Proficient in building and overseeing advanced client relationships.

  • Strategically analyze each client's financial planning, conducting general research in areas such as investments, income tax, estate planning, and recent regulations.

  • Generate new sales opportunities by collaborating with external influencers and internal teams for an integrated client sales and service experience.

  • Cultivate relationships with clients and prospects, educating them about our products.

  • Organize events and create content for existing clients and prospects.

  • Collaborate with the Wealth Advisory team to support clients through various tasks, including updating CRM, scheduling meetings, onboarding new clients, and generating reports.

  • Provide high-level service to clients, beneficiaries, advisors, and other related parties for assigned accounts.

    Requirements

Idea candidate:

  • 10+ years of experience working with Private Clients and High Net Worth individuals.

  • Series 65 license or commit to obtaining it within 3 months of starting the job.

  • CFP, CFA, or MBA

  • Preferred experience with technology tools like Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro, and Junxure CRM.

  • Strong skills in organization, time management, analysis, and both verbal and written communication are essential. Building relationships within the firm is a key aspect.

  • Proven capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, even under tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrates high personal and professional integrity, following a fiduciary approach in client relationship management.

  • Must be okay with some local and regional travel.
