Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with excellent multitasking and customer service skills to join our team. This role requires 0-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in primary or specialty care. Your role will involve submitting orders and prior authorizations, so understanding of this process is advantageous.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage high-volume calls. As we have a significant number of new patients, patience, and excellent customer service skills are necessary.
Triage and manage many tasks at once, ensuring efficient operation of the clinic during busy hours.
Use your problem-solving skills to find resolutions to any and all issues that may arise.
Maintain utmost integrity - your interactions may often involve patients with serious medical conditions.
Guarantee dependable attendance - consistent presence is vital for the smooth running of the clinic.
Requirements
2+ years of experience with Epic.
Must be an independent and assertive worker.
Exceptional multitasking ability.
Accomplished problem-solver, with the capacity to see the bigger picture and triage efficiently when multitasking.
