Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Loan Operations Assistant in the Financial Services industry in San Luis Obispo, California. The chosen candidate will be a part of a team that focuses on Loan Servicing in accordance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines within set timeframes.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicating with bank employees for efficient work flow.

• Conducting review and research for processing CRM events such as Tax Service, Repayment plans, ACH set up, Billing notices, payment requests, loan advances, and verification of mortgages.

• Handling processing of Incoming Loan payments for seamless financial operations.

• Ensuring Paid Loan Processing for maintaining up-to-date records.

• Performing daily and GL balancing to maintain financial accuracy.

• Tracking Insurance and Flood events for risk management.

• Monitoring Property Tax and Escrow for financial accuracy.

• Overseeing Collateral Tracking for Deeds of Trust and DMV Titles.

• Managing UCC Lien Releases for legal compliance.

• Handling Credit Report and Disputes for customer satisfaction.

• Managing SWAP’s and Participations for efficient loan servicing.

• Servicing SBA and USDA.

• Implementing daily rate changes for financial accuracy.

• Servicing existing loans as needed for customer satisfaction.

• Cross training under the Loan Servicing umbrella as requested by management for skill enhancement.

Requirements • Proficiency in 3m Coding is an essential requirement for this role.

• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Acrobat is required.

• Familiarity with Automated Underwriting Systems is a must.

• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is necessary.

• Experience in Data Processing is a key requirement.

• Knowledge of Appraisals in the financial sector is beneficial.

• The candidate must have experience in managing Bank Relations.

• Prior experience in a Call Center Customer Service role is desirable.

• Understanding of Closing Processes in financial operations is required.

• Strong knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards in the financial industry is crucial.
