Description
Our client, a globally recognized manufacturing company, is currently seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role is integral to the sustainability and success of the organization and offers ample opportunities for career growth within the department. In this role, you will play a key role in the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable. You will maintain current accounts and assist in invoice processing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and monitor payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers, performing data entry, and assisting with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure timely and accurate management of all Accounts Payable functions.
Prepare and reconcile monthly credit card statements.
Assist with the monthly and year-end closings.
Oversee petty cash balances and staff expense reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency with ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and data entry skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
