Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as a Junior Staff Accountant. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting. You will support the accounting team with daily operations, gain valuable hands-on experience, and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist with bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Perform data entry and ensure financial data accuracy.
Support the preparation of tax filings and audits as needed.
Maintain organized and secure financial documentation and records.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by senior accountants or management.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
Other Requirements:
No prior accounting experience required; training will be provided.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
