Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Payroll Clerk for our esteemed client in San Marcos, CA. The successful candidate is responsible for collecting and organizing time-sheets, managing payroll data, and responding to employee pay inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Collecting and verifying accurate hours worked for each employee.
Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of software.
Generating reports concerning payroll information, hours worked, etc. for each employee.
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer’s social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments.
Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk in a similar role.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
High degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
Good math and numerical skills.
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
