Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze complex financial reports and assess their accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Conduct regular ledger operations.
Design and propose modifications and updates to existing procedures to improve financial management.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns, ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws regarding financial records.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a senior accountant.
Solid understanding of financial processes and accounting regulations.
Proficient in MS Office and popular accounting software.
A track record of accuracy and precision in handling numbers.
CPA or relevant certification is a significant plus.
