AP/STAFF ACCOUNTANT

A stable real estate investment company is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that offer work/life balance and stability. The position will be part of a team handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and various other aspects of accounting. This position will also work on financial reporting, internal reviews, and special projects with the CFO.

Responsibilities

· Processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Performing bank accounts and credit card reconciliations

· Preparing property budgets

· Generating tax workpapers and supporting schedules

· CAM operating expense reconciliations

· Resolving and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable issues

· Reviewing general ledgers and month-end closing

· Assisting with financial reporting, internal reviews, and special projects

· Working on other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

· BA/BS degree

· Minimum 3 years of work experience in an accounting department

· Prior experience at a real estate and/or property management company is preferable

· Experience in Yardi Voyager is desirable

· Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
