We are currently seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join our team and focus on wage and hour disputes. Key Responsibilities: + Represent clients in wage and hour disputes, including claims related to unpaid wages, overtime, minimum wage violations, and meal/rest break issues. + Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. + Advise clients on employment law matters, with a focus on wage and hour laws, compliance with state and federal labor laws, and related regulations. + Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings. + Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and management. + Stay up-to-date on changes in employment law, especially wage and hour regulations. Requirements Qualifications: + Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. + Active membership in [Insert State] Bar. + 2-5 years of experience in employment law, specifically handling wage disputes and related litigation. + Strong understanding of federal and state wage and hour laws (e.g., FLSA, state wage laws). + Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. + Ability to manage a high caseload with minimal supervision. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
