Robert Half Business Analyst in San Ramon, California
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the heart of San Ramon, California. As a Business Analyst, you will be primarily involved in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting in-depth analysis to identify problems, find trends, and come up with predictions for future business growth
• Utilizing Atlassian Jira, CRM, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to manage, document and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Performing Gap Analysis to understand the current state of the business, identify areas of improvement, and provide appropriate solutions
• Employing AB Testing methods to compare two versions of a webpage or application against each other to determine which one performs better
• Applying Agile Scrum methodologies to divide the project into smaller parts, which are then prioritized by the team
• Understanding and documenting business processes and workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Creating Business Requirement Documents to provide an overview of the changes proposed, including the business need, scope, risks, and benefits of the project
• Managing Claim Administration by coordinating with various departments to resolve claim issues
• Using Business Process Functions to guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of cost-effective, business-optimized processes Requirements • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with AB Testing, Agile Scrum methodologies, and understanding of Business Process Functions
• Experience in preparing detailed Business Requirement Documents
• Knowledge of Claim Administration processes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field would be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mind
• Understanding of business practices and industry trends
• Willingness to continually learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
