JOB DESCRIPTION

As IT Project Manager III , your specific responsibilities will include:

Strategize, design, and plan all aspects of assigned RHI Information Technology (IT) projects, programs, and/or portfolios. Establish overall direction for each project, program, and/or portfolio. Assess, identify, and manage risks and issues throughout the life of the project or program, and effectively lead team members. Manage project, program, and/or portfolio resources by using project estimates to determine resource needs and effectively communicate them to resource managers. Plan, design, execute, implement, monitor, track, and execute against objectives throughout the project or program cycle. Publish data and report on issues, issue resolution, risks, and risk mitigation activities. Train and mentor junior-level team members in proper execution of job functions, industry best practices, subject matter expertise, and RHI-specific methodologies. Drive activities to improve the adoption of formal project and portfolio management within RHI.

Minimum Requirements :

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of project management and delivery or Bachelor’s degree , or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of project management and delivery.

Special Skill Requirements :

  1. Advanced proficiency in project management fundamentals, including planning and scheduling, budget tracking, risk, issue, change management and critical path analysis.

  2. Design project management approach, publish the execution plan, and manage project through release, ensuring that project plans include provisions for organizational change management.

  3. Ensure business and IT stakeholders understand their roles, responsibilities, and assigned work expectations.

  4. Utilize project data to identify remaining work left vs. remaining capacity for each release, analyze trends and anticipate issues.

  5. Understand how the project's technical scope supports customer needs, deliver business benefit and document project resource plan which integrates and aligns with project work plan and budget.

  6. Ensure that project plans include provisions for organizational change management.

  7. Manage risks proactively, tying consequences to the project plan and anticipating impacts to project delivery, schedule and cost.

  8. Identify and lead process improvement efforts and continuous improvement in the project team.
