The ServiceNow Manager will be part of our Enterprise Applications team. The successful candidate will leverage their significant ServiceNow engineering team experience to exercise technical leadership for a team of passionate and fun ServiceNow engineers ensuring timely execution of enterprise solutions. This role will work collaboratively with our IT leaders and business partners across the Robert Half enterprise to strategically plan and prioritize project requests so that we can ensure we support timely, consistent, and quality services.

This role will also be a key player in exposing the enterprise to the capabilities of ServiceNow and how it can be used in areas outside of IT, thereby increasing the use and value of ServiceNow applications and ensuring that it becomes a core Robert Half technology platform.

What You'll Do:

Strategy

  • Provide vision to business and IT leaders to identify strategic directions requiring systems solutions, define business application requirements, and deliver system and process solutions for those requirements.

  • Responsible for the stability, quality, maintenance, and enhancements of Enterprise Applications including ServiceNow, Jira, Alfresco, and Planview.

  • Stay abreast of technology industry trends and best practices.

  • Partner with the Robert Half Cloud Center of Excellence to test and learn emerging technology and its viable applicability to enhance corporate business capabilities.

Delivery Planning and Execution

  • Partner with the ServiceNow Operations and BSA/QA teams to provide for the stability, quality, maintenance, and enhancements of ServiceNow applications

  • Create, prioritize, plan, and execute ServiceNow enhancement/project requests with the ServiceNow Governance Committee.

  • Reduce development lifecycle by utilizing Agile methodologies.

Technology/Operational/ Risk Control

  • Provide oversight and leadership to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives that deliver high quality systems on-schedule, on-budget, and to the committed project scope.

  • Lead integration and synergy between architecture/technology planning and development initiatives, providing direction and decisions in application development to support platforms.

  • Cultivate good system management disciplines including clearly defined and documented roles and responsibilities, documented phase processes and checkpoint and detailed planning for system deployment.

  • Ensures compliance and control activities support technology and enterprise business objectives and are aligned with executive risk tolerances and expectations.

Leadership

  • Provides strategic and technical leadership about the implementation of core ServiceNow systems and works closely with others in applications development and technical support to ensure the developed applications conform to enterprise standards.

  • Actively research future systems solutions by balancing technology innovation, industry trends, voice of the customer and internal business needs.

  • Manage and develop team cultivating a spirit of one team with shared goals and objectives.

  • Select, motivate, and retain high performing talent.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent years of experience

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a medium to large-scale enterprise IT capacity

  • At least 5+ years leading a successful ServiceNow engineering team.

  • Technical application leadership required

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to lead, coach and mentor others

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to present to all levels of management

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$113,000.00 - $172,000.00
