DAILY WORK EXPERIENCE

The Manager, UX Architect works closely with Senior Management and Architecture team to support given projects. The UXA Manager will drive work with the UXA team members to develop site navigation, flows and user experiences. Responsible for team execution of user architecture documentation such as flow charts, site maps and prototypes to hand off to collaboration teams including design, technical and non-technical groups.

The Manager, UX Architecture will ensure functionality, design related ADA and design system specs are delivered to all technical teams. Will manage the workload and process of reviewing tickets and complete UAT testing of development tickets to ensure quality and complete output. Lead the creation of documentation, in collaboration with the design system product owner, for sharing between all collaboration teams (technical and non-technical) to ensure consistency throughout product implementation.

The Manager, UX Architecture must be skilled in capturing business goals, information architecture, design systems and serving as the voice of the customer. Will drive the work to develop user experience recommendations based on UXP. Lead a team of User Experience Architects, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Define individual and team goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth and development.

  • Write design and ADA requirements for development teams

  • Communicate complex technical information to less-technical users

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to lead projects with stakeholders and vendors on behalf of the UX team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area such as psychology, human factors, computer science, HCI or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with UXP Architect work experience is preferred.

  • HCI or CUA or CUX certification is required.

  • 8+ years of experience in user research, user interface design, information architecture, usability testing, human factors, and other related disciplines within a consultative or corporate environment.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$111,000.00 - $169,000.00
