JOB DESCRIPTION

Robert Half's corporate office is seeking a Marketing Quality Assurance Analyst III. S pecific responsibilities include:

  • Execute complex manual and automated test cases; record resultsVerify complex changes in pre-production environments and perform regression testing. Assist in release triage and verification with other Marketing stakeholders, including data cleanup.

  • Troubleshoot issues that occur with testing environments. Create and update manual/automated test cases as needed. Audit existing test cases and test data monthly to prevent out of date/stale tests. Approve changes to test cases/environment made by junior QA team members. Create and maintain user data for new features for validation for Marketing stakeholders.

  • Understand the requirements for projects they are working on and the dependencies of the project. Work with junior team members to perform risk assessment, time estimates of test strategy for their projects. Create and design test plans/cases for their projects (including but not limited to: requirement maps, happy path/failure paths, expected results, user data, risk assessment, time assessment.)

  • Actively participate in or lead meetings with various stakeholdersProvide real-time updates to projects QA is working on. Ask questions to help narrow down project requirements. Provide weekly reports to management (test cases executed, time spent, errors found in production etc.)

  • Verify issues raised by stakeholders/customers. Use domain expertise to try to narrow down root cause of the issues. Identify what test coverage we need in place to not run into reported errors again. Work with the Marketing Automation Team to help them reproduce errors with email journeys and automations. Keep an eye on alerts from third party vendors re: outages.

  • Keeps up to date on new tools and best practices, communicates interesting finds to team members. Collect data points for existing test procedures to determine their validity. Help design Proof of Concepts for new process improvements.

  • Mentor junior members on proper test strategy, research, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years product testing and verification or related experience required

  • 1+ years digital analytics validation preferred

  • Advanced experience with software test planning, execution and validation, including expertise with various testing tools and methods (SQL, Robot Framework, QTest, Jira, ServiceNow)

  • Advanced experience in test environment managements, test collaboration, tools selection and implementation in a medium to large company with a global environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of business process and data flow identification and documentation and testing application interfaces and data conversion.

  • Experienced with industry standard code review practices.

  • Experience managing testing in multiple Cloud (AWS preferred) based environments Experience validating Digital Analytics Tags and pixels (AdTech, Google Analytics, Tealium etc.)

  • Advanced experience with HTML/JavaScript (in regard to validating work)

  • Advanced knowledge of the overall application development life cycle. Agile preferred.

  • Ability to conduct test planning and execution with off-site resources

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret business acumen

  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities and remain flexible in a changing environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Strong professional judgment with the ability to appropriately influence others as needed

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to gather and synthesize requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with product development and business owners

  • Create detailed and complex test plans for large very complex initiatives

  • Knowledge of multiple testing methodologies and non-functional testing practices

  • Ability to develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide test plans, meeting established deliverables and timelines

  • Facilitate, conduct meetings, gather information, and present status

  • Design testing solutions for new processes and new business practices.
