Robert Half Payroll Specialist in San Ramon, California
Description
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for a large employee base (2,000-3,000), split alphabetically across teams
Manage payroll adjustments, direct deposits, garnishments, and levies
Respond to a high volume of emails related to payroll inquiries and concerns
Collaborate with management, who will handle employee terminations
Work with the interim Payroll Manager (through January) and the supporting Payroll Clerk
Coordinate with the LOA employee who provides additional payroll support
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in payroll within large companies
3+ years of direct payroll experience
Preferred: 2 years of college or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in ADP Vantage preferred, but open to ADP WFN and other ADP platforms
Strong organizational and communication skills to handle a high volume of inquiries
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with payroll for diverse employee types (hourly, salaried, K1)
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including garnishments and levies
