Robert Half VP, Marketing Channels and Campaign Management in San Ramon, California

Robert Half is seeking a Vice President of Marketing Channels and Campaign Management . The successful candidate will be responsible for driving client and candidate acquisition, engagement, and retention through advanced digital and lifecycle marketing strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this individual will play a crucial role in shaping the company's marketing direction, enhancing our digital presence, and ensuring the alignment of service offerings with customer and prospect needs. This individual will drive, influence, advise and support marketing technology solutions that will modernize the organization’s marketing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Transformation: Keeps abreast of new or emerging technologies, influencing, and advising solutions that will continue to further marketing’s strategic vision. Provide strategic input and lead transformation initiatives that modernize digital marketing functions through AI and technology adoption, and cross-functional process redesign in collaboration with partner organizations.

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital lifecycle marketing strategies to achieve business growth objectives, focusing on client and candidate segments for acquisition and retention.

  • Initiatives Leadership: Oversee digital channels and lifecycle marketing initiatives, including the web marketing and SEO for roberthalf.com, email marketing journeys, and integrated 3rd party performance marketing channels supporting site traffic, conversions, marketing qualified leads for field sales teams, purchase/repurchase, and retention.

  • Digital Experiences: Define marketing promotions for new web and mobile experiences supporting Robert Half’s human-led and digitally enabled hiring and job seeking process.

  • Data Analytics and Insights: Uses data analytics to inform, influence, and educate a wide range of stakeholders, and to drive strategic decisions, build automated programs, measure channel and campaign effectiveness, report on performance, and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Test and Learn: Lead a culture of innovation and learning through a defined test and learn roadmap that strives to continually increase program performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with and influence field sales, information technology, brand, content, product management, privacy and legal, customer experience, experience design and business transformation teams to ensure cohesive vision, strategy execution, governance, and alignment with goals.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-orientation.

  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage the budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.

  • Technology Utilization: Lead the adoption of the latest in digital marketing technologies and analytics tools to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in marketing, with significant expertise in digital marketing, web marketing, marketing automation, and lifecycle marketing.

  • Proven experience in driving digital transformation initiatives on a large scale and successfully implementing marketing automation strategies, processes, and tools.

  • Demonstrated success in leading long-term digital marketing strategies that have driven significant customer acquisition, engagement, and retention results.

  • Proficient in the latest digital marketing technologies and platforms, with preferred skills and experience with Salesforce and Adobe.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

  • Strong leadership qualities, with a proven track record of building, managing, and motivating effective marketing teams that work together to achieve common goals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

  • Innovative thinker with a growth mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong disposition towards building new processes and ways of achieving better results.

Scope & Leadership:

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with executives and leaders; key stakeholders for initiatives including the President & CEO.

  • Drives effective leadership of large team, including four direct reports, and a total organization size of approximately forty (FTEs and contractors)

  • Effectively maintains annual budgets including vendor and labor costs.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$209,000.00 - $283,000.00
