Robert Half is seeking a Webcast Producer to join the Media Services team on an contract basis.

Responsibilities :

  • Webcast producers will need to be able to plan, lead and execute the live meeting/event by leveraging information gathered during the request process and thru subsequent client meetings.Evaluate meeting/event locations, selecting and/or hiring additional crew, reserving and/or renting equipment, making transportation arrangements for crew and/or equipment, making sure all location power needs are met. Will also need to consider the planning and execution of completely virtual events. Will also be expected to collaborate with high-level executives on critical, high-profile projects.

  • Works closely with clients/stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to understand communication/training needs. Presents options based on desired deliverables and available technology for both on-site and virtual events.Will also be expected to collaborate with high level executives on critical, high-profile events.

  • Roles include, setup of video cameras, video interfaces, cable runs, operation of analog and/or digital audio mixer, video switcher, video/audio playback, PPT operator, encoding technician, webcast moderator, fixed camera operator, PTZ camera operator, technical director for both on-site and virtual events.

  • At times, recorded programs may need to be edited.Includes selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing footage, organizing raw media, editing footage. May also include inserting complex graphics and animations, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management, acquiring assets, and archiving of smaller, lower production value, quick turnaround projects.

  • Creates still and motion graphics packages for use in live webcasts using Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop and/or Adobe After Effects. Types include, but are not limited to: logos, titles, opening/closing sequences.

  • Excellent understanding and use of industry-standard streaming protocols, services and software encoders including but not limited to Wirecast.Abiltiy to diagnose, troubleshoot and support end-users.

  • Webcast producers will be expected to have strong, collaborative skills.Collaboration amongst team members, clients and stakeholders is a daily requirement.Webcast producers will also need to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Corporate Communications, IT as well as administrative staff in support of management communication efforts.Collaboration includes, but is not limited to: brainstorming ideas for specific projects, sharing knowledge, (tips and tricks, best practices) learning and working within brand guidelines, as well as maintaining an awareness of Marketing initiatives/campaigns.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in live event/broadcasting and AV media support

  • Live Event: Operation of both analog and digital audio mixer, patch and route signals to auxes and outputs.

  • Applications: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, Efficiency in Mac and Windows environments.

  • Proper use and care of wired and wireless microphones. Use of effects and processing for EQ/Compression and Delay to achieve optimal signal for webcast and live event sound systems.

  • Understanding of Live Production, both in person and virtual.

  • Setup and cabling of video sources including but not limited to manned and unmanned video cameras, computers, video playback and recording devices. Ability to operate a video camera effectively with minimal direction.

  • Working knowledge of signal pathing, HDMI and HD-SDI sources and distribution amplifiers. Operation of Barco S3 switcher, Blackmagic Design video routers and processors, AJA recording decks, setup and operation of Panasonic PTZ cameras.

  • Ability to setup and operate video cameras and wired and wireless microphones and operate an Audio Mixer, understanding of signal paths for input and output.

  • Operation of other production gear including but not limited to production switchers, video routers, PTZ cameras, recording hardware.

  • Strong Understanding of signal paths and cable management using different types of cable, HDMI, SDI, ethernet, USB and signal converters. Ability to setup a multiple input show and direct stream and record the show through completion.

  • Strong understanding of Streaming Audio and Video to and from different platforms.

  • Post and Pre Production: Editing, basic still and motion graphic design, exporting for web delivery.

  • Applications: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft PowerPoint Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects Efficiency in Mac and Windows environments.
