Our client is seeking a permanent fulltime Associate Attorney to join their team in Sandy Springs area of Atlanta, GA. This role will support personal injury legal matters including dog bites, car wrecks, premises liability, wrongful death, workers compensation. They are open to considering candidates with 2-6 years of litigation experience in personal injury, insurance defense, criminal litigation, family law, or similar areas. Role will have a dedicated paralegal, own office, solid benefits including 401k and match, HSA and match, dental, PTO, vision, etc..

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, focusing on litigation cases.

• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.

• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems, including personal injury and insurance defense litigation.

• Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.

• Handle criminal litigation cases ethically and professionally, ensuring fair representation.

• Manage family law cases, including divorces, with sensitivity and confidentiality.

• Attend and represent clients in depositions and mediations.

• Advocate for clients in court during trials and hearings.

• Develop defense strategies for plaintiff defense cases.

• Maintain bar admission and stay updated with current laws and regulations in Georgia.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in a litigation lawyer or attorney

• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia

• Must hold a professional degree in law (JD, LLB, LLM, etc.)

• Proven expertise in Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Family Law, or Insurance Defense Litigation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of professional ethics and integrity

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to interpret laws and regulations

• Proven track record of managing multiple cases and clients simultaneously

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Strong research and report writing skills

• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in legal research software and platforms
