Robert Half Financial Analyst in Santa Ana, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Santa Ana, California, operating within the Financial Services industry. The role involves analyzing financial data, forecasting trends, preparing reports, and evaluating economic and business trends. This position also demands a keen eye for detail to study and evaluate company's value through its financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and interpreting complex financial data to provide forecasting support.

• Preparing detailed reports and projections based on analyzed financial data.

• Recommending individual and collective investments, also known as portfolios.

• Evaluating current and historical financial data to identify and interpret trends.

• Studying business and economic trends to provide informed advice.

• Determining a company’s value through in-depth analysis of financial statements.

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports, Data Mining Techniques for processing and analyzing data.

• Performing accounting functions and managing budget processes.

• Conducting auditing and accrual accounting activities.

• Managing capital effectively to ensure financial stability. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position within the financial services industry.

• Demonstrable experience with accounting software systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is considered an asset.

• Proficiency in CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, including accrual accounting.

• Proven experience in auditing, budget processes, and capital management.

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Must have legal right to work in the given location.
