Seeking an entry level Litigation Paralegal role in the Orange County, California area? Look no further than Robert Half's open permanent position. As a litigation paralegal with this firm, you will work independently as well as establish effective working relationships within a team environment. In this position, you will be responsible for a number of duties, such as conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, drafting subpoenas, all aspects of discovery, supporting cases, and other duties. This litigation paralegal opportunity is on-site 5 days in Orange County and offers training and development in a friendly and collaborative environment. We have place support staff who are thriving and happy!

Your responsibilities

• Maintain computer database input and retrieval

• Search through a variety of court and agency web sites and collect relevant content

• Govern over legal research and investigative tasks, including obtaining information or documents from outside parties, as directed

• Manage e-documents and files

• Write communications and memorandum

• Collect documents and assemble data

• Making sure copied documents adhere to original standards

  Requirements

• Solid technical skills

  • Strong familiarity with Discovery

  • Subpoenas experience required

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

  • Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

  • Internet research skills

  • ABA Paralegal Certificate

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

  • 2+ years of related experience
