Robert Half is seeking a meticulous and motivated Billing/Collections Specialist for a contract remote position based out of Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling billing and collections processes, generating invoices, and maintaining customer service standards. This position will be in the SaaS industry, where you will be working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee billing and collections processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Generate and distribute invoices to customers, utilizing Salesforce for efficient processing

• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and perform collection duties as required

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary

• Collaborate with the team to support seasonality in business operations, particularly during peak periods like back-to-school renewals

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting and billing functions

• Maintain a high level of customer service when resolving credit inquiries and handling claim administration

• Utilize your skills in NetSuite to complete billing tasks accurately and effectively

• Contribute to the team's efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• At least 1 year of relevant experience with Billing/Collections

• Experience with Salesforce, a huge plus

• Experience in utilizing NetSuite

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Previous experience in the SaaS industry is highly desired!

• Excellent Customer Service skills
