Robert Half Client Service Specialist in Santa Barbara, California


Robert Half is seeking to fill a one-month temporary position in Santa Barbara for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional client service and team support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused setting, is proactive in identifying and addressing needs, and is adept at managing and handling sensitive information.

  • Deliver consistent, exceptional service to clients.

  • Proactively identify and address client needs.

  • Address client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.

  • Assist clients with understanding and managing information related to financial, insurance, investments, legal, and tax matters.

  • Build and foster strong relationships with clients and professionals in various fields.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

  • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.

  • Travel locally to provide services to clients as needed.

  • Gather information and perform research to assist clients and Family Office CFO Services Team colleagues.

  • Compile and organize client data for recordkeeping and further use by other team members.

  • Maintain organized records of client statements, correspondence, and reference material.

  • Continually seek improvements and efficiencies in daily operations.

  • Assist with accounting tasks as needed.

  • Effectively utilize a CRM system to build and maintain client information.

  • Manage time tracking system and generate reports for team members.

  • Collaborate with the company IT manager to provide onsite team support.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

  • Prior Family Office experience strongly preferred.

  • One to three years of experience in a client service role in finance, banking, insurance, legal, or other professional services capacity preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Cash Activity

  • Knowledge of Compliance procedures and standards

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
