This job opportunity for a Deputy General Counsel with an established international organization is hiring for their Santa Barbara headquarters! This is a hybrid opportunity (minimum of 2 days per week onsite) is with a company that has excellent employee tenure.
Responsibilities:
· Draft, review and redline agreement: domestic and international sales and procurement agreements, manufacturing agreements, donor agreements, vendor agreements, cash donation agreements, commercial co-venturer agreements, construction/infrastructure agreements, independent contractor agreements, and more
· Ensure regulatory compliance, generate compliance reports, assist in compliance audits
· Conduct corporate due diligence
· Maintain working knowledge in the following areas: executive orders, export controls, patient privacy, anti-kickback, anti-terrorism, foreign corruption, labor & employment, intellectual property and data privacy
· Partner with government agencies including Office of Inspector General, Bureau of Industry and Security, Office of Foreign Assets Control, CA Attorney General’s Office & FBI
· Provide litigation support to outside counsel
Compensation/Benefits/Perks/Additional:
· $ 200k-225k+ DOE
· Benefits

Requirements
Requirements:
· Prior pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing OR distribution industry experience desired
· Experience having worked in a company regulated by/in compliance with: FDA, GDPR compliance with the European Market, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback, Drug Supply Chain Security Act, False Claims Act OR Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
· CA licensure OR RIHC
· Ability to commute to Santa Barbara 2x/week minimum.
