Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Santa Barbara, California

Description

In this dynamic position, you'll play a key role in the success of our parts department. You'll collaborate closely with the Parts Manager to develop strategies that not only keep shelves stocked but also maximize sales and profitability. This is a contract to permanent opportunity in Santa Barbara!

Here's what you'll do:

  • Partner with the Parts Manager to optimize inventory levels.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place timely orders and receive parts efficiently. Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries using Excel.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal (service department) and external customers. Address inquiries, troubleshoot parts needs, and fulfill orders.

  • Collaborate effectively with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless communication and support. Work together to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance overall internal department operations.

    Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on addressing customer needs and maintaining customer satisfaction

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

• Knowledge of inventory management processes and systems

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Willingness to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous
