Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a MDM Specialist in the Higher Education industry in Santa Barbara, California. The role involves assisting with mobile device deployments and providing enrollment support. The Specialist will also be expected to utilize various skills, including MDM Technologies, Active Directory, and Configuration Management.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the deployment of mobile devices within the organization

• Providing support for enrollment processes

• Utilizing MDM Technologies to manage and secure mobile devices

• Working with Active Directory for the management of user accounts and access controls

• Utilizing Configuration Management to maintain system security and performance standards

• Gaining familiarity with MaaS360 for potential application in support or implementation roles

• Exploring opportunities to apply scripting experience with Powershell or Python

• Applying knowledge of Single Sign-On and endpoint security protocols

• Utilizing JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro where applicable

• Supporting the use of Apple Devices and other related hardware within the organization. Requirements • Candidate must have at least three years of experience as an MDM Specialist or in a related role.

• Strong proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies is required.

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware and Database management is necessary.

• Expertise in Dell Technologies and Active Directory is expected.

• Experience in managing Apple Devices and Backup Technologies is essential.

• Knowledge of Configuration Management and MDM Technologies is crucial.

• Previous experience with JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro is desired.

• Practical understanding of MaaS360, Endpoint Protection, Endpoint Security, and Single Sign-On is beneficial.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
