Description

My client, a Santa Barbara Government based firm is looking for a .NET Developer to join their web development team. The .NET Developer position is on-site 2 times a week and the other 3 days are remote. The job function involves backend development, bug tracking, client side scripting and content management system. The role demands a deep understanding of Microsoft .NET technologies and proficiency in SQL Server programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Utilize ASP.NET web forms using C# and Javascript to support legacy applications.

• Display proficient SQL Server programming skills.

• Understand and apply SDLC and design patterns.

• Apply OOAD concepts in the development process.

• Review and assess customer business requirements, evaluate risks, and provide recommendations.

• Configure web servers and deploy web sites.

• Apply programming expertise and knowledge of industry best practices to contribute to meeting the organization's needs.

• Use web frameworks like Blazor and UI tools like Radzen and Telerik for front end web development.

• Manage version control tools like GitHub.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Backend Development and Client Side Scripting

• Experience with Bug Tracking and Content Management System (CMS)

• Knowledge of Database management, AB Testing, and Ajax

• Skilled in C#, CSS, Design, and Framework

• Proficient in JavaScript

• Understanding of SDLC Methodology and SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle

• Knowledge of OOAD and Blazor

• Experience working with Web Servers and SQL Server

• Ability to work in a government environment

• Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy policies

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
