Robert Half Property Administrator in Santa Barbara, California

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in Santa Barbara, California. This role is pivotal in our real estate operations, where you will engage in a variety of tasks, from public agency real property transactions to the preparation and negotiation of real estate contracts and documents.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct public agency real property transactions, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

• Examine and interpret legal descriptions, engineering plans, property maps, and preliminary title reports for real estate transactions.

• Review property appraisals, ensuring they are based on accurate assumptions and appropriate principles.

• Conduct rental studies and research property title, court cases, property rights, and other relevant records.

• Prepare, interpret, and negotiate various real estate documents such as deeds, easements, concession agreements, leases, licenses, temporary entry permits, and purchase and sale contracts.

• Engage with the public, elected officials, and appointed boards and commissions to present proposals and answer questions related to real estate transactions.

• Coordinate with other departments and government agencies to ensure conformance with policies and regulations and timely completion of projects.

• Consult with legal counsel on eminent domain actions related to condemnation proceedings.

• Maintain accurate records and prepare letters, reports, and general correspondence.

• Assist in training other staff members as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Yardi and Yardi Property Management software

• Comprehensive understanding of Real Estate concepts and practices

• Experience in Document Control and maintaining organized records

• Ability to handle Contract Administration duties efficiently

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

• Familiarity with property management regulations and laws

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite

• High level of professionalism and ethics

• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle client inquiries and complaints

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills related to property administration.
