Description
We are actively seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our cutting-edge artificial intelligence company. The successful candidate will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of our accounts payable. You will also be expected to prepare, record, verify, analyze, and complete payable duties, offering accurate financial information to the team.
Responsibilities:
Compile, process, and maintain accounts payable records with accuracy.
Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies and issues.
Prepare and execute payment transfers; coordinating check runs and ACH payments.
Verify, reconcile, and resolve accounts payable discrepancies and issues.
Maintain vendor files and report on outstanding issues; propose improvements to payable processes.
Track expenses and process expense reports.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Assist with month end closing.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of accounts payable experience is preferred.
Sound knowledge of accounts payable principles and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and efficient use of accounts payable software programs.
Exceptional data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
