Description
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) on a regular basis to provide accurate financial information to management and stakeholders.
Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments, using accounting software or manual systems as necessary.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of financial budgets and forecasts by providing insights into historical data and current trends. Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making and business planning processes.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary adjustments to financial processes and reporting practices.
Submit financial figures to journals and ledgers
Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of an array of sources.
Resolve discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required.
Requirements
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
Comprehensive knowledge of NetSuite, Spectrum and Construction partner is a plus
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
