Robert Half is seeking a Software Engineer for an innovative Neurosciences company based in Santa Fe , New Mexico.

We are seeking an energetic, innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help lead our technical product development. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to dive deep into technical issues and stepping back to address problems with systems-level thinking. He/she/they should have practical experience translating hard science into software, hardware, and electrical design and be excited about converting research insights into products that improve daily life.

Responsibilities
Provide foundational software design and development to help drive our products to early success. This role will begin with a high level of individual contribution and is expected to transition to include portions of time spent in management as the team grows.
●Design, develop, test, and deploy software from device to cloud infrastructure and computing
●Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
●Focus on overall product quality and user experience
●Collaborate with team members to drive successful solutions
●Play an active role in product and technology design to determine the technical platforms that will be most successful for the organization balancing near and long-term opportunities
●Active involvement in recruiting key talent
●Keep product development momentum high by anticipating future bottlenecks & development threats and resolving them proactively

The successful Software Engineer will have:
●Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
●7 years of software development experience, or 5 years with an advanced degree
●Deep experience in Python, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Java and/ or JavaScript
●Experience in any of the following: web/mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, wearable technology development, WiFi/BT communications, Raspberry Pi, embedded systems, complex digital signal processing, large scale data warehousing
●Passion to make a positive impact on the cognitive health of our customers and advance the field of sleep science
●A strong track record of success in technical execution
●Experience leading projects from prototyping to manufacturing
●Ability to work with a broad range of technical talent, including software, electrical and mechanical engineers, firmware developers, industrial and product designers
●Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
