Description Robert Half is actively looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant for a long-term contract / temporary opportunity. Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Be a part of various department-wide initiatives
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Vow to meet business deadlines
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Revenue Cycle Processes experience
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Expertise in general ledger
Workday experience
Well-founded grasp of Accounts Payable (AP)
General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Bank reconciliations experience
Financial reporting systems proficiency
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Efficient in ERP systems
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
