Robert Half Systems Engineer in Santa Fe Springs, California
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role will be focused on providing technical support, designing and implementing various technologies and systems, and working collaboratively with multiple teams to meet clients' technical needs and business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate effectively with the Sales Team to develop customized proposals and present solutions that address clients' technical needs and business goals.
• Support the Projects Department in planning and executing projects successfully.
• Design, configure, implement, and maintain Windows Server OS (all versions), virtualization technologies, and backup solutions.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for device management and security.
• Maintain and implement Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct routine system maintenance and optimizations.
• Implement and maintain applications including Microsoft SharePoint, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches and routers.
• Develop and manage system architecture while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Keep accurate and timely records of issues in the Autotask ticketing system. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Systems Engineer role or a similar field
• Demonstrable skills in Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, DELL EMC, and Dell Technologies
• Proficiency in AB Testing and Active Directory
• Experience with Automation and AWS Technologies is required
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies and MS Windows is beneficial
• Proficiency in VMware, Azure Active Directory, Comptia, and Comptia Network+ is desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of system engineering principles and methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
