Description
We are in search of a detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Santa Maria, California. The primary function of this role is to manage incoming orders for equipment, create work orders, and coordinate with the team for project execution. This role sits within a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires proficiency in data entry and Spanish language skills is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Take incoming orders for equipment and create the corresponding work orders.
• Work closely with the team to assemble crews for projects.
• Enter order and client information into the database accurately.
• Get acquainted with the inventory selection for efficient order processing.
• Drive for the role as required, maintaining a clear driving record.
• Collaborate with team members
• Operate within a warehouse environment, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
• Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records and databases.
• Resolve any arising issues or inquiries related to orders, inventory, or team projects.
Requirements • Proficiency in executing various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse
• Familiarity with maintaining warehouse inventory and keeping accurate records of all warehouse activities
• Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
• Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in the Spanish language, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication in a diverse work environment
• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent education
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting and moving items
• Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records and using warehouse management software
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting with other staff and clients.
