Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in managing incoming payments and ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, collections, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in financial software.

Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.

• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues with payments.

• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Utilize accounting software and financial tools such as Quicken to manage accounts effectively.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues, providing exceptional customer service.

• Generate reports on accounts receivable status for management review.

• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts at month-end.

Requirements

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, with experience in corporate accounting preferred.

• Familiarity with financial software and accounting software is essential.

• Strong math skills for accurate calculations and data analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Previous experience in financial services or a similar role is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and team members effectively.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
