As part of their continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join the team.
Job Description:
As a Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our clients' businesses. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and supporting our clients in making informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage invoicing and billing processes.
Track and follow up on outstanding payments.
Process and pay vendor invoices.
Financial Reporting:
Generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Prepare customized financial reports for clients on a regular basis.
Tax Compliance:
Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and filings.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Client Support:
Collaborate with consultants and clients to provide financial insights and answer financial-related queries.
Help clients interpret financial reports and make informed decisions.
Record Maintenance:
Organize and maintain financial documents and records in an orderly manner.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial information.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with small business financial management is a plus.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position, offering flexibility in terms of hours and schedule. We are open to discussing the specific work hours to accommodate the right candidate.
