Description
A leading full-service financial planning & investment advisory firm is seeking a Tax Director to head up the entirety of their Tax division. This role will work closely with firm clients to devise tax strategies and plans and will work in conjunction with upper management as it relates to the advisory of the firm's clients.
Responsibilities:
Prepare tax projections
Maintain a working relationship with selected clients
Perform compliance review and tax return signoff
Handle client consultations on planning opportunities and changes in tax law
Working on proposals and assisting in developing new business
Meeting prospective clients and developing relationships with new and existing clients
Expanding services to existing clients
Supervising engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field – Masters in Taxation preferred
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
3+ years with supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
CPA certification
Ability to interact with C-Suite professionals, in-house Financial Advisory team and clients
