Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Sarasota, Florida!
Responsibilities Will Include:
• Manage the accounting for multiple locations, ensuring accurate records and transactions.
• Execute heavy accounts payable responsibilities, including receiving bills, GL coding, approval seeking from Managers, system entry, check issuance, and mailing.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks such as bank deposits, payment applications, invoice creation, rent statement issuance, and light collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Draft budget preparations for review by Managers, providing necessary input.
• Prepare financial statements ensuring a comprehensive understanding of debits/credits, assets/liabilities, and depreciation.
• Perform administrative tasks including filing and folder preparation for Managers.
• Maintain W9s and Certificates of Insurance for vendors.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Good understanding of Accounting principles
• Understanding and application of Debits and Credits
• Capability in Financial Statement Preparation
