Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Java Software Engineer in the healthcare technology sector, based in Sarasota, Florida. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage their skills in backend development, Java, Git Version Control, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Active Directory, and Application Integration. This role involves integrating Java applications with Active Directory and maintaining high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and integrate Java applications with Active Directory to ensure seamless operations.
• Utilize the Spring Framework and Spring Security to enhance application functionalities.
• Leverage Git Version Control to manage code versions and ensure code integrity.
• Work on backend development, ensuring efficient data flow between the server and users.
• Maintain and improve existing code to ensure software performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Debug software applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Document software specifications and train users as necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in Backend Development
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language
• Familiarity with Git Version Control
• Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Security
• Experience with Active Directory
• Demonstrated skills in Application Integration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
