Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Sr. Financial Reporting Manager, located in Sarasota, FL. The chosen candidate will lead the month-end close processes and manage financial consolidation for all company entities at the corporate level. This role demands proficiency in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and robust financial reporting while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Close and Consolidation: Direct the end-to-end monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. Spearhead corporate-level consolidation, interfacing with various departments to ensure cohesive financial data.

  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all financial documentation complies with US GAAP and other relevant standards, including the orchestration of SEC filings.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the annual budget process, aligning departmental financials with corporate objectives. Analyze performance variances and project future financial scenarios to guide strategic decision-making.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial operations conform to legal and regulatory requirements. Facilitate audits and rectify discrepancies as identified by external and internal auditors.

  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a culture of growth and accountability within the finance team. Develop training programs aimed at enhancing skillsets and fostering professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred.

  • CPA required.

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial roles within a public company environment, with substantial exposure to financial management, reporting, and consolidations.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of managing high-performing teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems like Netsuite.
