Robert Half Financial Analyst in Sausalito, California

Description

We are in the market for a Financial Analyst to become part of our team in the Corporate Payments industry, located 100% remotely. The role involves supporting department leaders, strategic project management, financial modeling, and delivering key business insights to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the financial performance of the organization's product, marketing, and sales initiatives.

• Developing presentations and materials that summarize data to facilitate decision-making for business partners and senior leadership.

• Recommending and implementing policies and programs to maintain and improve the organization's competitive position.

• Building strong partnerships across departments and acting as the finance subject matter expert on cross-functional teams focused on new and existing business opportunities.

• Providing thought leadership to foster new business initiatives, streamline existing processes, drive standardization, and create scalable solutions.

• Collaborating with the Corporate Finance organization to deliver insights for planning, actuals, and analyzes to drive business performance and identify opportunities and risks.

• Supporting the evolution of the budgeting and planning process, assisting with cross-functional projects to improve integration with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A).

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar capacity

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis

• Demonstrated knowledge of data mining techniques and their application in financial analysis

• Experience in auditing, ensuring financial operations adhere to standards and regulations

• Familiarity with budget processes, including planning, tracking, and adjusting budgets

• Understanding of capital management and its impact on company finances

• Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP& A), including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis

• Ability to analyze variance, identifying trends, and making recommendations based on findings

• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar financial management software

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
