Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Savanah, Georgia

Description We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Inventory Clerk for our Wholesale Distribution industry located in Savannah, Georgia, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and will be primarily responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing customer applications, and handling customer inquiries. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to inventory

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Utilize various software such as ADP - Financial Services, Cerner Technologies, and Epic Software for efficient inventory management

• Perform clerical duties related to inventory management as required

• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for effective resource planning and management

• Answer inbound calls from customers and provide them with necessary information and assistance

• Prepare and maintain charts and graphs for inventory tracking and management. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Epic Software

• Practical experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently

• Experience in Auditing

• Knowledge of Charts - Graphs

• Skilled in performing Clerical Duties

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of inventory management procedures and best practices

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications may be an advantage.
