Description
Audio Visual Technician

We are searching for a self-motivated and detail-oriented AV Technician to join our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from pre-sales design to on-site support, ensuring our clients have a seamless and successful audio-visual experience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to design and plan audio-visual systems for client needs.
Program control systems and signal processing equipment.
Install and commission audio and video equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
Provide on-site technical support and user training for clients.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual system issues efficiently.
Maintain a well-organized inventory of equipment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and obtain industry certifications (a plus).
Qualifications:
Experience in low-voltage cabling, distributed audio/video, video conferencing, and system integration.
Understanding of construction techniques, low-voltage wiring principles, and ability to read system design diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on creative solutions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and AV/DSP software.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders/lifts, and possess a valid driver's license.
Customer-service oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
Highly motivated with a strong commitment to detail and follow-through.
