Robert Half Cable Technician in Savannah, Georgia
Description
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure.
Perform on-site installations and repairs.
Ensure that cable system installations are working correctly.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Test newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications.
Perform other duties such as cable completion, projection, cable pullins, and make cable labels.
Conduct inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cable Technician or similar role.
Good understanding of electronic circuits and wiring in low voltage systems.
Ability to use tools and diagnostic equipment.
Manual dexterity and ability to work in cramped and high places.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma with appropriate vocational training.
Certification in network cabling is a plus.
